BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Maximum Group Size: 8 Minimum Group size: 4
Plans may change depending on the flight schedule. If you have any special dietary needs please inform us before arrival. Walking is easy to moderate if not stated otherwise. On steeper terrain there will be pre-warning of any potential difficulty.
PRICES INCLUDE:
Travel to and from Malaga airport. All ground transport in luxury 4×4 vehicle or minibus. Full or half-board, depending on tour. Double/twin room with ensuite facilities in quality hotels. Free mineral water, wine, and light refreshments en route. Full-time guide services. Use of spotting scopes (one per vehicle) and binoculars.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE:
Flights, travel insurance, personal equipment, phone calls, expenditure on drinks not mentioned or any other activities not mentioned.

METHOD OF PAYMENT:
Payment to be made directly to Sierratrek (José Luis Sánchez Balsera), preferably through a bank transfer to our account number (details will be given upon booking). See in HOW TO BOOK.
BOOKING:
A reservation is only made when José luis Sánchez has accepted the completed booking form and received the appropriate booking deposit.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION:
On receipt of your booking and payment, you will be sent written confirmation by Jose Luis Sanchez Balsera. After your booking you will be sent a detailed itinerary.
THE BALANCE:
The balance to be paid no later than three weeks prior to the date the tour commences.
TRANSFER OF BOOKING:
Tour participants may transfer their booking to another person, if they are prevented from proceeding with the tour. To book our services written confirmation must be made by letter or email or by completing the booking form available on our web site: ww.sierra-trek.com, plus payment of €100 deposit. The balance to be paid to Sierratrek (José Luis Sánchez Balsera) by bank transfer no later than three weeks before the tour commences. All amounts paid will be made by wire transfer to CAJA GRANADA – full details to be sent to you on booking.
CANCELLATIONS:
Notice of cancellations can only be accepted in writing from the person who signed the booking form and will take effect on the day such notice is received by us. In the event of cancellation, the following charges will be levied: Over 42 days before departure: deposit only. Between 29 and 42 days before departure 60 % of tour price. Between 15 and 28 days before departure 80% of tour price. Between 14 days or less before departure 100% of tour price. These dates refer to the date that we receive notice of cancellation from you. Any breach of the above instalments or unjustified delays in paying them will automatically lead to cancellation of the booking, the above mentioned rules then being applied.
TOUR ALTERATION AND CANCELLATION:
We reserve the right to cancel any tour for which there are insufficient reservations, not less than eight weeks before the departure date. If we cancel a tour for any reason, we will refund the full amount you have paid us for that tour. The tour descriptions and itineraries in brochures and on our website are meant only as a guide. Circumstance such as flight times and other uncertainties of travel may change, and the itinerary may therefore have to be changed. We will select the list of sites to visit and will organise the schedule according to the season, the time of day, the weather conditions and other variations in the environment and fauna. You will be given all the details before your trip. We therefore reserve the right to amend the itineraries according to circumstances, but will strive to maintain the advertised standard of the tour.
INSURANCE:
It is highly advisable to take out a personal travel insurance policy before leaving your country. It is a condition of booking that suitable cover be arranged by you for all destination outside the UK. We will usually insist on proof of effective travel insurance cover being produced to us prior to departure, it is your reponsibility to have it.
AIR TRAVEL:
As you will notice all our prices do not include air travel. Currently, opportunities for cheap flights between Britain and Spain are readily available.
IT IS ADVISABLE NOT TO BOOK FLIGHTS UNTIL YOUR BOOKING IS CONFIRMED.
