You’ll be met at Malaga Airport from where we head inland to some en route birding at Fuente de Piedra – a vast salt-water lagoon famous for its large numbers of Greater flamingo. We arrive late afternoon at Western Sierra Morena and ”Realm of the Lynx” rural hostelries – exquisitely restored granite and slate cottages, refurbished to the highest standards and set in the hamlet of Azuel near the town of Cardeña, where we will enjoy evening meals in and around the plaza.
