Morocco is a wonderful country of Nothern Africa. Its authenticity and its living culture make this the ideal destination for holidays without doubt.

But is also particularly interesting because of its wildlife. Around 450 species of birds, 112 of mammals, more than 90 of reptiles and 11 of amphibians.

We have designed a special tour, focusing on reptiles, as it is one of the most interesting moroccan faunal group.

We’ll explore the main areas for reptlies, specially the Anti-Atlas and Sahara desert, in the hope of getting the maximum number of species.

This is a tour for both nature photographers and people interested in reptiles and wildlife in general.

A team of three experts will lead you:

The tour leader: José Luis Sánchez.

An expert on amphibians and reptiles: Luis García. Member of the Granada Herpetological Association.

This is a chance to enjoy this amazing country, travelling together as friends, learning about moroccan wildlife and at the same time, get the most out of your camera. A tour, expertly guided by people with vast experience and intimate knowledge of the natural world in these truly exotic lands. A route which traces the magnificent Atlas Mountains and desert, and takes you in the extraordinary city of Marrakech, combining scientific enquiry and the joy of travelling through this unique part of the World.
